Following the martyrdom of Dr. Ali Ardeshir Larijani, a permanent member of the Academy, the Iranian Academy of the Arts issued a message of condolence. the message is as follows:

The martyrdom of Dr. Ali Ardeshir Larijani, a permanent member of the Iranian Academy of the Arts, whose multifaceted character was the source of many valuable managerial and cultural services to the Islamic homeland, is a cause of both sorrow and honor.

As a determined and insightful struggler, and as a committed thinker trusted by the martyred Leader of the Revolution, he worked to enlighten and raise awareness during difficult and turbulent times. Through the eloquence of his speech and the firmness of his thought, he served the advancement of national dignity and interests. In the end, by receiving the honor of martyrdom, he joined his fellow companions and his martyred Imam.

The Iranian Academy of the Arts extends its condolences for this grievous loss to the Supreme Leadership, the respected family of the martyr, and the family of the Academy of the Arts, and prays to Almighty God to grant him and the other martyrs of the imposed War of Ramadan the highest ranks in the hereafter.
